Are you aware of who’s coming into your building every day?

Many vendors, visitors, and medical professionals come into facilities every day, which can contribute to the random spread of germs and viruses. Throughout the COVID-19 Pandemic, families were forced to sit outside and look through the window to visit with loved ones because of the widely spread virus. Long-term care facilities became a hotspot for the virus, and many people lost their lives due to the careless spread of germs. COVID-19 was consistently being brought into facilities inadvertently by staff and families, but no one even thought about all of the anonymous couriers coming in day in and day out to drop off medicines. Long-term facility vendors who support these buildings have among the highest rates in terms of day-to-day foot traffic. Thus, the Titan contactless pharmacy delivery system was born.

How Does Titan Work?

· The Titan Med Delivery System can be positioned near the facility entrance for easy access.

· Delivery personnel places pharmacy delivery into compartment A and checks compartment C for pharmacy returns.

· The Titan Med Delivery System alerts facility nursing staff that a delivery has been made.

· Facility nursing staff retrieves medication from compartment B (and places new returns in compartment C).

· Nursing staff reconciles delivery and communicates back to pharmacy with documentation.

This design allows for a contactless pharmacy delivery and eliminates the need for pharmacy couriers to enter the building, make deliveries or accept returns to go back to the pharmacy. The Titan went through extensive beta testing, and received great feedback and outstanding results with implementation and use. The contactless system’s design and operation creates the most efficient contactless delivery system in the medical market. The Titan has now been utilized in the field for over two years, and the original beta test sites still continue to use the system to this day.

The Titan provides an invaluable solution to an ongoing problem in long term care facilities, and if implemented, saves lives by limiting the widespread number of germs brought inside each and every day.
